They both come with similar sized 4.3 displays. However, the EVO has a slight edge when it comes to resolution. The EVO offers 540 x 960 pixels of resolution. The Optimus handset only offers 480 x 800 pixels of resolution.

When it comes to operating systems, both smartphones are powered by the Android operating system. However, they are both running on different Android versions. The HTC EVO 3D is powered by the Android operating system version 2.3. This is the latest Gingerbread version. The LG Optimus 3D is powered by an outdated version of Android. It runs on the 2.2 version Froyo. This gives the Taiwanese-made smartphone an edge when it comes to multi-tasking and energy efficiency.
